Prior to moving to Florida, Dr. Benefield practiced in Texas doing Ophthalmology and was also trained in psychiatry at the University of Texas, at Southwestern in Dallas.
She has two sons, aged 23 and 24, one of whom is in Chiropractic school and who she hopes joins us one day in taking care of patients for spine wellness.
Dr. Benefield also swam competitively for 10 years, the last of which was at the University of Michigan. She also enjoys the wonderful weather here in Florida, which allows her to ride her bicycle, swim, windsurf, snorkel, and scuba dive.
Dr. Benefield says "I am very pleased to have the opportunity to join Dr Eidelson in the initial opening of the South Palm Orthospine Institute with special attention made to promoting spine wellness. There is substantial growth potential for this new concept of spine wellness with a wide range of choices for treatment which we will be providing to patients."
